Great news coming from The Netherlands. Liberals are victorious as Dutch voters rejected Wilders’ anti-EU and nationalist populism and both of our member parties obtained excellent results. VVD remains by far the leading political party of the Netherlands while D66 obtained an increase of 7 seats.
From 17 to 19 March the UK Liberal Democrats held their Spring Conference in York. “Liberal Democrats are defiant. We haven’t given up. We won’t become indifferent. We reject the Hard Brexit world view and we will fight it every step of the way,” stated LibDems leader Tim Farron.

Digital technologies can be at the service of communities. To help Ukrainian local authorities in harnessing the potential of e-government, Dainis Turlais, ALDE-CoR member representing the Riga City Council, shared his experience in a roundtable organised by the European Liberal Forum and FNF.
