IFLRY represented at European Youth Forum
Our Executive Director Andrea Ugrinoska represented IFLRY at the General assembly of European Youth Forum in Varna, Bulgaria.
Here she is together with the secretary general of European Liberal Youth (LYMEC), Danica Vihinen. Together, they promoted liberal ideas among other youth!
We are very pleased to inform you about IFLRY’s new gift giving policy. Instead of thanking our amazing speakers with a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates or just a warm handshake, we will now donate on behalf of them to a charity. After careful consideration, we decided that this year’s charity will be The Against Malaria Foundation, a foundation providing and distributing bed nets (the most effective and efficient way to prevent malaria). We see private initiative at the very core of a free society and therefore try to live up to our role as a role model.
New Executive Assistant in the office
Another exciting piece of news for IFLRY! We have hired a new Executive Assistant for the office team! Mona Ramadhan started this week, we all look forward to working with her! Here she is with Executive Director Andrea Ugrinoska getting into the Christmas spirit.
Mona is currently doing a Master’s in Social Policy and Development at LSE. “From my previous experiences working at a women’s rights organization as well as co-organizing an all girl-group for newly migrated girls in Sweden, I am deeply passionate about gender equality and hope to promote these values globally”.
Mona will also be at the Executive Committee in Amman this month, so make sure to introduce yourselves!
